Bruno Fernandes has given an explosive interview with Portuguese outlet Mais de Futebol, sparking speculation about the Portuguese star's future at Manchester United.
As part of the interview, the Red Devils' captain claimed:" The club wanted me to go [in the summer], I have that in my head. I told the directors this, but I think they didn’t have the courage to make that decision."
Aside from Bruno's surprising transfer revelation, the 31-year-old also named the "most annoying player" currently in the Premier League.

While Fernandes is known for his passionate demeanour on the pitch, the former Sporting Lisbon player suggested one of his teammates for Portugal is actually even "more annoying."
Bruno said: "My image on the pitch makes me seem like someone who's always complaining, but Bernardo Silva is more annoying than me!
"He's politically correct, and I'm not! My problem is talking with my arms."
Despite a brilliant goalscoring performance from their captain, Manchester United failed to beat Bournemouth at home on Monday night, in a game that ended in a 4-4 draw.
Bruno's strike was his 11th goal contribution for the Red Devils so far this season, as he's helped his side recover from a poor start to reach 6th in the Premier League table.
Fernandes was heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia throughout the summer, and remains to be seen if these rumours will re-emerge when the January transfer window opens in a fortnight.
