Bruce Buffer has placed some crazy bets on Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather

Bruce Buffer has some interesting action on Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather.

The UFC's veteran voice of the Octagon explained on his 'It's Time' podcast that he does not place bets on fights that he is announcing. Although he is allowed to do it, he chooses not to as he sees it as a 'moral issue'. However, the crossover megafight on August 26 is fair game to him and he is putting his money behind McGregor pulling off the upset win, plus he has made a few more ambitious bets about the outcome of the fight. Buffer got his money in early, so the odds he received are a lot better than the current market.

"I remember it came in at like 20/1 then it went down to like 11. I got Conor McGregor at 7.5/1 which is now 4.5/1... I bet Conor McGregor to win at 7.5/1."

"I made a bet that he would knock Mayweather down at some point in the fight when he gets one knee, that's 5/1, which is now 3.5/1."

That's a little bit out there. Mayweather is one of the most evasive, unhittable boxers to ever grace a ring. He has dedicated his life to mastering the defensive art of boxing. Even at 40 and retired, he is probably the best in the game at it. Jesus Bruce! Mayweather's never been beaten, let alone rendered unconscious. This isn't like MMA, the gloves are heavier, there are standing 10 counts and it's Mayweather's domain. What on Earth were you thinking?

Well, that's probably true. Mayweather is the type of fighter that dominates the longer the fight goes on and McGregor has that 'Oh my God power' that can shut the lights off for anyone, bar maybe Nate Diaz.
