Jones was facing two years out of the fight game after just one fight of his comeback from a 2015 ban. Bones was all set to fight Daniel Cormier at UFC 200 but was yanked from the card just three days out after being flagged for a positive out-of-competition drug test by USADA.
He sobbed, apologised to his fans, vowed to clear his name and exited a Las Vegas ballroom. A few days later news of a positive in-competition test emerged.
The failed test revelation ruined White's dinner before UFC 200. One can only imagine how many meals Brock Lesnar's failed drug tests ruined in the aftermath of the event.

Both men tested positive for Hydroxy-clomiphene, an anti-estrogenic agent [it speeds up recovery]. Jones' sample was also found to contain Letrozole metabolite, an aromatase inhibitor.
It has now emerged that both considered 'specified substances' on the World Anti-Doping Agency [WADA] Code. That means United States Anti-Doping Agency will serve a shorter than usual suspension.
The association may accept that the men inadvertently took the substances. It is possible that the banned substances were taken through supplements that did not list them in their ingredients.
The maximum amount of time they can be banned for is a year, not the usual two years. The minimum sanction is a public warning.
The Nevada Athletic Commission temporarily suspended Lesnar and Jones, who was stripped of his interim UFC Light Heavyweight belt, after the positive tests were announced. Both men will face an NAC hearing this year and should learn when they will be able to fight again.
Lesnar, meanwhile, has already returned to WWE action.
