Brendan Rodgers could be on the brink of a return to Premier League management

Chelsea, Galatasaray, a mystery club in Qatar… Brendan Rodgers’ name has been linked with plenty of managerial positions since he left Anfield in October.

Once again, he’s being tipped for a return to management – this time to the position that he left to become Liverpool boss in 2012.

Swansea City are struggling and The Daily Express reckon that Brendan Rodgers could be the man to resurrect the club’s fortunes.

Despite steering the club away from relegation in 2014, Garry Monk could now be on the brink of leaving Swansea.

Rodgers, who guided the Swans into the Premier League, is said to have remained close to the club’s chairman, Huw Jenkins, since his departure.

Although it was thought that Rodgers was keen to be taking a break from management, a return to the Liberty Stadium might be enough to tempt him back.
