Tyson Fury breezed past Derek Chisora to retain his heavyweight titles via TKO

The Gypsy King was the clear favourite going into the fight and proved his worth by winning every single round until referee Victor Loughlin stepped in to stop the fight in round 10. The finish was met with boos from a surprisingly boisterous crowd at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Fury's win sets up a massive unification clash with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, who confronted the Morecambe man in the ring after the fight. Both Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora agreed to go hell for leather in the fight in a bid to make it an exciting match-up, but if anything, this left Londoner Chisora exposed and open to Fury's jab. Even the the announcement of Fury vs Chisora 3 was met with an initial backlash due to how one-sided fans and pundits thought it would be. Come fight night, they were proved right. Many would have preferred Fury to fight Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua instead. Usyk wanted a few months out after defeating Anthony Joshua for a second time whilst a deal couldn't be agreed with AJ's team. However, a monumental unification bout with Usyk does look likely to take place in 2023, if events surrounding Fury vs Chisora are anything to go by. Usyk is in attendance and his face on the big screen drew hostility and boos from the Fury-supporting crowd.
