Joshua predicted he would KO the American champ in the sixth round, but the power-punching Watford fighter took just two rounds to end the fight.
After a cagey first round, Joshua found his range and knocked Martin down with a beautiful short right hand. He was given a standing eight count but was allowed to continue. Joshua smelled blood and went charging at the unbeaten 29-year-old southpaw.
In the very next change Joshua caught him again with a vicious straight right following Martin's jab back, and sent him sprawling to the deck. He was counted out by the ref as Joshua grinned in victory.
