A verdict has been reached
A final decision has been announced after KSI appealed the result of his fight against Tommy Fury.
KSI was beaten by the Love Island winner in a six-round fight, losing his unbeaten record in the process.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer claimed the outcome was a “robbery” and “outrageous”.
Fury, who had beaten Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia beforehand, was deducted a point for an illegal shot.
After the fight KSI confirmed he and his team would launch an appeal and following the process taken, the following statement was announced on Friday:
“The PBA confirms that an independent review panel, consisting of two of the country’s leading King’s Counsel and a third lawyer, has determined that there are no grounds to overturn the KSI vs Tommy Fury fight result from October 14, 2023.”
KSI’s team have already said they will appeal again.
Fury was initially awarded the victory via majority decision but that was later changed to a unanimous decision after a mistake when totalling up one of the scorecards.
