All Blacks reveal new jersey that’s fit to poach a pride of Lions

It's every thing we were hoping for

Ben Kiely

No prizes for guessing what colour the New Zealand’s new jersey is.

Hehe… ‘new jersey’.

Anyway,we got a brief glimpse of the armour New Zealand’s warriors are going to be wearing on the battlefields when the British and Irish Lions rock into home territory early on Tuesday.

Aside from the fact it was clearly black, the only thing we took away from the first image was the new crest, which paid homage to the team’s stories history.

The crest featured the years 1904 and 2017 on it, which didn’t refer to their first official Test (which took place in 1903. It actually marked the first official Lions Tour to New Zealand in 1904. The Lions won a three-Test series against Australia but lost their to the All Blacks 9-3 in Wellington.

Well, Adidas New Zealand have finally shared the full jersey and as the their nickname suggests, it is all black.

No splash of white like we’ve seen from previous efforts and AIG are the sponsors, as we already knew, but that new crest looks pretty damn good on the minimalist shirt.

It may not exactly be pushing the boat out, but one thing’s for sure, they’re going to look really intimidating in these kits.
