Billy Joe Saunders apologises for degrading woman in disgusting video

Billy Joe Saunders is never far from controversy.

Saunders has found himself in hot water on several occasions over the years for his opinions on women. He might be one of the greatest fighters in the world but there is no defence of his behaviour in a disgusting video which appeared on social media this week and is now being investigated by the police. Saunders was filmed degrading a woman in the video which we have decided not to post out of respect for the unfortunate individual, who was repeatedly demeaned by the WBO middleweight champion. Saunders promised to provide the woman in the video with crack cocaine only if she fulfilled some of his revolting requests. The woman was first asked if she could sing before Saunders then made a horrible offer. "If I was to give you £150 worth, would you t*** him off at the side there?" Saunders asked. A passerby was then punched by the woman, again at the request of Saunders before the car he was driving sped off. https://twitter.com/bjsaunders_/status/1041964042368282625 While Saunders has apologised for his behaviour, Nottinghamshire Police are said to be investigating the incident. A spokesperson told the Daily Mail: "Officers will be looking to identify and speak to all of those who feature in this sickening video, and a full investigation will be carried out into the number of offences that have been captured on film, including the offer to supply Class A drugs, aiding and abetting an assault, assault and public order offences. "Incidents of this nature will not be tolerated in Nottinghamshire, and we would urge anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any further information about those responsible to come forward.'
