Mendy will go on trial alongside co-defendant Louis Saha Matturie, who has also denied the allegations. Matturie denies eight counts of rape and four of sexual assault, relating to eight women, between July 2012 and August 2021.
The France international has made 75 appearances for Man City since arriving at the Etihad Stadium from Monaco, registering two goals and 14 assists. The left-back has also featured on 10 occasions for his country.
Mendy, who was suspended by the reigning Premier League champions after being charged, remains on bail and was present during Wednesday's court hearing.
