Brazilian defender Dante has ended his time at Bayern Munich, neglecting a move to England.
The 31-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United two seasons ago and despite further interest from the Premier League, Dante has opted to stay in the Bundesliga by joining Wolfsburg.
"We want to thank Dante," said Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. "Bayern experienced with him a very successful period with a lot of terrific moments and titles. Besides we got to know and appreciate Dante as a very pleasant and sympathetic man. We wish him all the best with his future."
