Just when you think you've seen it all
Barcelona star Riqui Puig was captured signing an autograph on a live pig on his way out of training on Thursday.
In what was presumably a reference to his surname and the word pig sounding relatively similar - 'cerdo' in Spanish, 'porc' in Catalan - the 22-year-old was stopped in his car by supporters.
Normally most people would ask for a selfie or hand over a piece of paper for a player to sign, but no, not this fan.
(Headphone wearers be warned, loud squeals incoming.)

Instead, he held up a rather large pig and hoisted it in front of Puig's car. On first glance the midfielder looked a bit taken aback (I mean, who wouldn't?) but nonetheless, he agreed to sign the pig.
In fairness it wasn't the actual pig he signed - the animal was wearing a Spain shirt - but this Rigui Puig super-fan got their wish.
The 22-year-old isn't a first-team regular in the Barça side, having only made 10 appearances this season - only one of those being a LaLiga start - and is way down the pecking order behind the likes of Frenkie De Jong, Pedri and Sergio Busquets.
According to
Football-Espana, the Catalan club are looking to offload the midfielder at the end of the season as they continue to bolster their side in a bid to return to the more familiar glory days at the soon to be named
Spotify Camp Nou.
