It's a big game for Mo Salah, who will play against his old club only 10 months after exiting the Olimpico last summer. It's a bigger game for the Liverpool faithful, who know they are just two games away from reaching the top fixture in European club football. Kiev is just within their grasp.
Ahead of the huge game, Anfield was buzzing. A sea of red jerseys were booming out unique chants. The sky was bleeding from the burning flares. And tourists nearby who weren't into football must have been soiling their trousers in terror.
