With the final game at the Boleyn Ground set to be played on Tuesday night, kick off has been delayed by 45 minutes after West Ham fans pelted the Manchester United team bus with bottles.
But while United captain Wayne Rooney was angry with the supporters for their embarrassing actions, his team-mate did not quite share his sentiments.
As bottles flew into the United bus, they smashed off some of the tinted glass hiding the players inside their coach.
You might expect it to reveal some worried looking faces, but instead those in attendance were greeted by the smiling face of England defender Chris Smalling.
