Aston Villa today confirmed the signing of Yannick Bolasie from Everton. The winger joined Everton in 2016 but suffered a knee injury only months into his spell at Goodison Park that kept him out for a year.
He has now found a new home at Villa Park, much to the relief of Villa fans, who have been demanding the announcement on Twitter for days. The official Villa Twitter account has been flooded with #AnnounceBolasie tweets over the past few days, which they used creatively for the announcement video.

It’s not the first time Villa have had some fun with a transfer announcement; last summer they celebrated the signing of John Terry from Chelsea with a video forging a WhatsApp conversation between Dr Tony Xia and manager Steve Bruce.
