For the second season on the spin, Arsenal took all three points at Turf Moor thanks to a stoppage time winner.

13 months on from Laurent Koscielny's late winner settling the same fixture, Burnley conceded a late penalty after referee Lee Mason spotted a push from James Tarkowski on Aaron Ramsey. Alexis Sanchez stepped up, and found the bottom left corner of the goal, securing a win that lifted Arsenal into the top four. Many of the home supporters believed the penalty decision was harsh, some claiming Ramsey went down easily after minimal contact from Tarkowski. While the Premier League rules stipulate that we aren't permitted to show footage of the incident, the following image does at least show that Mason had a completely unobstructed view of the incident. Despite the opinions of some of the Burnley supporters, Wenger appeared satisfied that Mason had got the penalty decision right. "From outside it looked 100% [the decision]. I don't know why he pushed him in the back. I would like to see it again."
