Arsenal provide update on Cazorla’s injury…and it’s a terrible blow to their title hopes

When it rains, it pours in North London.

Arsenal will be without Spanish playmaker Santi Cazorla for at least three months after he damaged ligaments in his knee against Norwich on Sunday.

The former Malaga midfielder played on despite the injury, but Arsene Wenger has admitted that he may have made the problem worse.

Arsenal say that they expect the Spaniard to be out until at least March, but he could miss more time depending on the severity of the injury and the progress of his recovery.

The Gunners can now add Cazorla to a growing list of absentees, which now includes Cazorla and Alexis Sanchez alongside the likes of Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Francis Coquelin.
