Arne Slot has provided a fitness update on the club's Swedish striker Alexander Isak, months on from news that the player broke part of his foot during a match against Tottenham.
Isak joined the Reds for £125 million in the summer, but faced constant struggles for fitness in the weeks after his arrival, made worse by the fact that the 26-year-old missed the final three months of his Newcastle career in order to make the switch to Anfield happen.
Isak finally began to hit form for his new club in the final weeks of 2025, but was then unfortunately hit with a much more serious setback in December.
The Swede was caught in a challenge from Spurs' Micky van de Ven that ultimately led to a part of his foot being broken.
The date that Arne Slot expects Isak to return from his injury has now been revealed.

Speaking to press on Thursday, Slot said Isak would be back in action between the end of March and the start of April, making it likely that he plays some part in the final parts of the season.
It remains to be seen how Isak's recovery progresses over the next few weeks, to see if Slot's prediction turns out to be accurate.
