Premier League champions Liverpool have had a flying start to the new Premier League season, and now sit top of the table after winning all five of their matches.
Despite recording a fantastic debut season under Slot, the Reds went to great efforts to strengthen in depth over the summer, spending more than £400 million on new acquisitions in the process.

The hard work has paid off immediately for Arne Slot's side, who already look heavy favourites to win this year's Premier League title.
Their stellar performances on the pitch, include a resolute 1-0 victory over Arsenal at Anfield and a 3-2 win over Newcastle, and have resulted in Dutch manager Slot winning the Premier League Manager of the Month award for August.
As he was presented with the award earlier this week, the 47-year-old responded to a series of questions put to him by FootballJOE.
Slot discussed everything from the impact of 17-year-old future star Rio Ngumoha, to what drove the Reds to push so ardently for Alexander Isak's signature this summer.
After months of speculation, the Swedish striker eventually signed for Liverpool from Newcastle in a British record deal worth £125 million.
Slot delved into memories of Isak's explosive performances against Liverpool for Newcastle — and for Dutch side Willem II when the pair both plied their trade in the Netherlands— when discussing the 25-year-old's prowess in front of goal.
See what he had to say in the clip below.
Aside from his exciting new signings, Slot also discussed the impact of some of Liverpool's youth talent, like Rio Ngumoha, who are already causing him selection nightmares.
Ngumoha, who graduated from Chelsea's renowned Cobham academy before being poached by the Reds in the summer of 2024, burst onto the scene during Liverpool's 3-2 win over Newcastle last month.
The 17-year-old came off the bench to score a 100th minute winner.
Slot went on to make clear the trust he has for Ngumoha, who he describes as a "matchwinner", despite his age.

Slot's Reds take on Crystal Palace this weekend where they'll hope to continue their 100% record.
The Eagles are the only team to have beaten Liverpool so far this season, in the Community Shield.
