Spill the beans, Antoine

Antoine Griezmann said recently that he was undecided about where he would play come next season, but that he would make a decision before the World Cup.

With the World Cup starting on Thursday, the clock is ticking. Speaking in a press conference today, the Atlético Madrid striker said that he has come to a decision.

He then went on to say that he would not be revealing what that decision was, as the time was inappropriate.

Both Barcelona and Manchester United have expressed interest in the forward, who has a release clause of €200m. Manchester United are likely to sign another high profile forward this summer, with Anthony Martial on his way out, but they are also interested in Gareth Bale.

Barcelona are looking for a long-term successor to Luis Suárez, whose time at the top level is running out.

Griezmann is part of the France squad for this summer’s World Cup squad and will be a key part of the team going into the tournament, in which they are one of the favourites.
