His fractious relationship with Mourinho was understood to be the cause of his reluctance to commit his future to United. But under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Martial is playing some of his best football since arriving at United in 2015. With nine goals in all competitions this season, he is the club's joint top goalscorer.
