As for the fight itself, Browne had never tasted defeat in his career before this weekend but he came up short against the defending WBC Silver heavyweight champion. The left side of Browne's face was left streaming with blood from the early stages and the scar tissue was ripped up even more as the fight progressed. 'The Body Snatcher' sensed that the stoppage was on and let fly with a thunderous left hook that spun Browne around and forced him to faceplant in the centre of the ring. The raucous celebrations at the O2 Arena were immediately muted when concerns were raised over Browne, who was out cold before he hit the mat. Browne was taken away by paramedics on a stretcher.
