French international striker Karim Benzema is prepared to respond to any court summons over the on-running Mathieu Valbuena sex tape case, according to his lawyer.
Benzema could follow former Les Bleus frontman Djibril Cisse in speaking to authorities, though he has not yet been requested to do so.
According to French publication
Journal du Dimanche, Benzema's name appears in wiretaps pertaining to the blackmail investigation, though there is no suggestion of any guilt on his part.

"Neither I nor my client have not been contacted, but we obviously will respond to any summons," Benzema's lawyer Sylvain Cornier is reported to have said.
Cisse
was released from custody last week after being questioned in relation to the case, while several other individuals were also
brought in for questioning.
