French newspaper L'Equipe claim that a deal has been agreed between Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of Angel Di Maria.

According to the report on Saturday afternoon, United and PSG have negotiated a transfer fee of 'just over €65m' - which amounts to around £46m. The figure seems unusually low, considering the Argentine was valued at just shy of £60m a year ago. A £14m loss when selling a world-class player to a cash-rich club will vex many fans. L'Equipe are so sure that the deal will go through that they claim the player may join his new teammates in New Jersey on Sunday (or Monday at the latest), after having a medical at New York Red Bulls' facilities. Di Maria was left out of the United team to face Barcelona in Saturday's friendly.
