It's almost as if they practise this pattern of play quite a lot
Ajax cruised to a 4-0 away win over Chelsea's baby sister Vitesse Arnhem yesterday, with goals coming from Hakim Ziyech, Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Dusan Tadić.
Huntelaar wrapped up the scoring in the 58th minute with his second goal of the game, but had the ball in the next just a minute prior to that, only for the goal to be disallowed for offside.
With the assistance of VAR, Tadić was ruled to have been in an offside position when the ball was played through to him before he put it on a plate for Huntelaar.
Vitesse clearly did not learn from their mistake that allowed Ajax through their defence in this instance, as the away side were able to do so in exactly the same way just a minute later with no trouble at all.
Huntelaar tucked the ball away with ease, with no VAR to chalk it off that time.
