A ‘super computer’ has predicted the final Premier League table – and it’s not good news for Arsenal

Arsene Wenger's great boast is his incredible record of qualifying for the Champions League.

Season after season he has led the Gunners into the top four without fail in his 20 years at the club. He rates the achievement so highly that he even regards it in the same terms as winning a trophy. He has used that as something of a defence through the barren years after the move to the Emirates when trophies were in very short supply in that part of north London. But is that proud record finally about to end? Well the funsters over at Talksport have fired up their "super computer" and got it to predict the Premier League table at the end of the season. Their table is based on the data available from January 5th, after the last round of matches were completed. It's no great surprise to see that Chelsea top the list, followed by Liverpool. Tottenham follow in fifth, with Arsenal behind them - something that hasn't happened since 1995. At the other end, it's bad news for Hull, Swansea and Middlesbrough, who will all go down according to the "Super computer". Here's the list in full:

If Arsenal do miss out on the top four, would that be the final straw for impatient Gunners fans who are already frustrated with Wenger? His contract is up at the end of the season and so far there is no news on a new one. Could this be the Frenchman's last year at the club? Time will tell.
