And the German international's talents have not gone unnoticed by Italy legend Andrea Pirlo who has claimed that Ozil could well be the most creative player in all of Europe. That's not a compliment to be taken lightly when you consider the fact that Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Riyad Mahrez are also playing in Europe right now. When discussing the German with Shortlist magazine, Pirlo described Ozil as "maybe the most creative player in Europe right now. "He creates an unbelievable amount of chances for attackers playing ahead of him. He has vision like nobody else in Europe."
