Sixty-five per cent of football fans believe Spain will defeat France in the Semi-finals of Euro 2024 as per a poll posted by FootballJOE.
Spain are set to face off with France tomorrow evening and are quite clearly the fan favourites to come out on top against the French.
Spain have impressed so far in Euro 2024, playing the most entertaining football, scoring plenty of goals and ultimately looking very hard to beat.
La Roja are likely favourites for the entire tournament with only France, England and the Netherlands remaining.
While traditionally strong and possessing incredible talent in their squads, these three nations have struggled to consistently impress throughout the month of football.
Spain have scored 11 goals and only conceded two in the entire tournament while France are still yet to score a goal themselves from open play.
France can only take solace in their extremely water-tight defence which has only let in one goal up until the semi-finals which came from a penalty in a 1-1 draw with Poland.
If Les Bleus' previous matches are anything to go by, another tight game lacking goals is to be expected.
In the other semi-final of the tournament England will be taking on the Netherlands in a game with similar billing.
While the Netherlands have not been as impressive as the Spanish, they do know where the net is, bagging nine times at Euro 2024 only failing to score against France, of course.
However, their opposition, England, have been potentially worse than the French when it comes to performances in Germany.
Only managing to muster five goals against the likes of Serbia, Slovenia and Slovakia, England have really been punching below their weight for the billion pound squad they possess.
Furthermore, Southgate's men cannot claim to have a clean sheet record as good as the French, conceding in three of their five matches.
Ultimately this week's semi-finals will come down to two sides of a coin, the immovable objects in England and France and the unstoppable forces of Spain and the Netherlands.
Let's just hope we don't get the two immovable objects in the final...
Spain play France tomorrow evening at 8pm while the Netherlands take on England on Wednesday at 8pm.
