Bale hopes to stay despite the boos...

No Bale out for Madrid

Gareth Bale is prepared to resist the attentions of a throng of Premier League suitors to stick it out at Real Madrid and fight for his place at the Bernabeu, so say The Daily Mail.

The 25-year-old has apparently made clear to the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United that he is determined to win over the white hanky-waving Real faithful.

Thus far the Welsh international has been less from a hit in Spain, but he seems far from ready to give up on his dream move just yet. Not that it will bring an end to the rumours…

No need to talk about Kevin

Another player intent on staying put is ex-Chelsea man and Bundesliga revelation Kevin De Bruyne. The London Evening Standard report that the highly-rated midfield schemer is going nowhere.

De Bruyne has been in blistering form for VfL Wolfsburg this season and has attracted interest from around the continent, most notably from German giants Bayern Munich.

But his team-mate Marcel Schafer insists that the 23-year-old Ed Sheeran-a-like is happy at the Volkswagen Arena and has no intention of motoring out of the place any time soon.

Danny the champion of the world

Sartorial maverick and Barcelona defender Dani Alves is wanted by pretty much everyone and that includes English giants Liverpool and Manchester United, according to The Daily Mirror.

The Camp Nou veteran is out of contract in the summer, which may explain the clamour for his signature. That and the boost his wardrobe addiction will bring to the local retail economy.

Both English sides face fierce opposition though, with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly leading the race for the 31-year-old. One thing is for sure – the wing-back is definitely cat-walking out of Barcelona.
