David Silva is good at football. Really, really good at football.
In the last decade or so, he's arguably the best there's been in the Premier League, playing a huge part in Manchester City's successes along the way. The playmakers' playmaker, his eye for a pass is arguably his greatest quality.
On Monday night at Wembley though, he showed that sometimes, even a player with such ability can make the wrong decision once in a while.
Early in the second half, with City leading through Riyad Mahrez's early strike, Silva appeared to have arrived perfectly on to the end of Bernardo Silva's cross. From the edge of the six-yard box, the little Spaniard had the goal at his mercy... but somehow, managed not to score.
Opting against shooting first time, Silva fails to bring the ball under his spell before eventually passing the ball to Raheem Sterling.

Despite failing to double their lead, City held on to win the game 1-0, moving back to the top of the Premier League on goal difference ahead of Liverpool, who also have 26 points.
