I don't really know what to write here this week. I want to write about the anger the tragedy of George Floyd's death evokes in me, but that anger cannot begin to compare to that of the black community. His murder is just the most recent example of countless cold blooded racially motivated murders at the hands of authority both in the UK and the US.
It is the responsibility of people in my position to support the black-led anti-racism movements. To learn how to be a good ally. Dazed have written a handy guide on the matter, as have countless other people on social media.
The mayor of Minneapolis has demonstrated how to here.
And this should also help.
