At a time when almost every news headline makes you want to either cry, put your fist through a wall or scream into a pillow, there was one piece of positive news this week: German football will resume next weekend.
Now, there are the obvious caveats that A) there will be no fans in the ground and therefore half of what makes German football entertaining will be gone and B) it seems rather soon to be restarting sport given how out of control the virus remains in other countries. But let's just say that I have more faith in the Germans to proceed responsibly than other governments.
The Bundesliga fixture list includes the clash of the Blues, as the irresistible force of Hertha Berlin meet the unmovable object of Hoffenheim, in a clash that's gonna go down in history as one of the only football matches that are happening next weekend.
On Saturday, there are old scores to be settled at The Signal Iduna, scores like 1-0 and 2-2, that have happened in previous years. Who will win this time between Dortmund and Schalke?
The football is officially happening next weekend. Watch it. It's gonna move.
Enjoy the quiz.
