As we trudge along through the increasingly real and simultaneously increasingly surreal experience of living through a global pandemic, weird is becoming the new normal and normal is becoming the new weird. I find myself reading novels - and finishing them - in less than a week. I find myself looking forward to going for a walk in the evening. I have never previously opted to "go for a walk" for the sake of the exercise. The suggestion of "going for a walk" at Christmas is only made mildly appealing by the knowledge there will be a pint at the end. Now, I desperately crave a walk.
You are all probably going through similar experiences, lifestyle changes, developing new habits, ridding old ones. What's certain is that this is all very weird. But please, be responsible. Stay indoors.
Those Sopranos DVDs you bought years ago aren't going to watch themselves.
