Let's quiz like it's 2016!
Why's everyone obsessing over 2016? Where has this faux nostalgia come from? Those of us that lived it remember what 2016 was like - it was crap.
Loads of fantastic celebrities died, the voters of the UK and US made two of the worst decisions in modern history, people started dabbing and England lost to Iceland (although the extent ti which that coloured your year entirely depends on your nationality).
So, whilst 2016 may seem like halcyon days compared to 2026, let's not get carried away with ourselves.
One thing that DOES go in 2016's favour though is that it was the year this quiz came into existence.
Yes, 2016 was one of the most significant years for internet quizzing and the online realm has never been the same since. So thanks for that at least 2016.
If you hadn't already guessed, you'll be getting a round on 2016 this week. The rest of the quiz has nothing to do with 2016. It does mention, in no particular order, Brooklyn Beckham, Michael Carrick and the Oscars, along with many other subjects.
And there is absolutely no mention of Greenland or Donald Trump.
