What song do you sing while washing your hands?
God Save the Queen is the worst song ever. It shouldn’t be the national anthem. Although, it does completely capture the essence of this nation’s innate desire to lick the boot of the ruling class. But yeah, I would rather catch the coronavirus than sing it while washing my hands. Imagine being in the toilet at work and someone hears you humming the national fucking anthem while washing your hands. You’d have to resign on the spot.
Instead I like to sing the chorus to Take on Me by A-ha while washing my hands. Even a bad attempt at hitting that long, high note is less offensive than singing the national anthem.
