Trump campaign press conference cut off by Fox News

A Trump campaign press conference alleging electoral fraud was cut off mid-speech by Fox News, itself a prominent right-wing media network. Trump's press secretary Kayleigh McEnany was making a speech outlining the case when Fox News host Neil Cavuto interrupted, saying: "Whoa, whoa, whoa. I just think we have to be very clear: she's charging the other side as welcoming fraud and illegal voting. "Unless she has more details to back that up, I can't in good countenance continue to show you this." https://twitter.com/nikkimcr/status/1325917697968844801?s=21 McEnany started her speech by making a number of potentially libellous allegations against the Democratic Party. She said the Democrats were the only party opposing voter ID and trying to keep observers out of the vote-counting room. Just before Fox cut away, McEnany added: "You [the Democrats] take these positions because you are welcoming fraud and you are welcoming illegal voting." After taking the Trump campaign press conference off air, Cavuto said they would only be allowed to return once they could provide evidence to support their claims. Cavuto said: "But that's an explosive charge to make, that the other side is effectively rigging and cheating. If she does bring proof of that of course we'll take you back so far she has started saying, right at the outset, welcoming fraud, welcoming illegal voting." This isn't the first time Kayleigh McEnany has landed herself - and the Trump campaign - in hot water. She previously introduced the world to 'alternative facts' - lies passed off as truth, in other words.
