Rupert Lowe posted a 12 minute long video on X in which he suggested being interested in working with Farage’s Reform UK.
Nigel Farage has responded to the video to the press, stating he remains ‘open minded’ to the idea, but is reluctant on ‘ditching’ his allies.
The video was posted over the weekend with Lowe saying that Farage would have to agree to ban burqas and hala meat.
Lowe goes as far as saying that any former conservative Ministers should be ruled out of being involved in future cabinets.
Including the likes of Robert Jenrick or Suella Braverman, to which Farage responded: “I don’t ditch my friends. I don’t ditch my allies.”
Farage added in a press conference in central London on Monday: “If you want to do a political deal with somebody, you know, you would contact them privately and not do a 12-minute video.
“That said, I did actually reach out back yesterday to him. I did say, ‘look, should we have a call?’ I haven’t heard back yet, so I don’t know what the sincerity of this is.”
The chief of Reform said he had “no desire” to meet some of the items on Lowe’s “shopping list”.
Farage finalizes his comments on the matter, saying that it was an offer that “came in a very unusual way.”

“I have responded to it potentially, you know, with an open mind, as I would,” said the Reform leader.
“But I’m certainly not going to be ditching people who I view to be allies and a great asset.”
Farage and Lowe have a shared history, working alongside each other within Reform UK, before Lowe’s departure.
Lowe founded Restore with more radical ideals, which came after he had to resign due to claims of ‘bullying’ when he was MP.
Lowe also served alongside Farage in the Brexit Party in the European Parliament.
However, both seemed to have drifted apart in the political careers.
“Look, there is this myth that I fell out with Rupert Lowe. It’s not true,” said Farage on the matter.
“Everyone fell out with Rupert Lowe. It was the screaming, the shouting, the threatening, the legal threats, everyone fell out with him.”
Now calling for mass-deportation and a referendum on the death penalty, Lowe’s party cannot win a “single seat” according to Farage.
