Video: Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge survives brutal drop test

It’s a one of the risks of owning a smartphone: Accidentally drop that puppy onto a hard surface and you’re going to have a near-future comprised of cracked screens and missed messages.

But Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge seems harder to kill then most.

A YouTuber who appears to have run out of f*cks to give to modern technology, launched the £720 handset into the unforgiving ground like the enraged teacher above. Three times.

By some miracle, the handset - which has a curved Gorilla Glass screen on three sides - survives the harsh-handling.

The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge go on sale in the UK next week, and are Samsung’s attempt to challenge the Apple iPhone.
