Woman killed in hit and run in south London

A woman in her 20s has been killed following a hit and run overnight

The incident occurred on Clapham Road in Stockwell, south London, at around 4am on Sunday morning and the victim suffered fatal injuries, police said. Emergency services were called to the scene but were unable to save the woman. They have stated that the driver did not stop and drove away "at speed".
