Wait, what!? Hard Rock Cafe London are selling a burger for 71p

You've got to be quick though

Will Lavin

Happy Birthday Hard Rock Cafe

Did you know that the very first Hard Rock Cafe was founded in London? The brainchild of two music-loving Americans who simply wanted to find a good burger whilst living in the country’s capital, they ended up opening the first restaurant on June 14th 1971.

To celebrate this milestone Hard Rock Cafe London, which was first opened 47 years ago in an old Rolls Royce dealership and remains on the same site to this day, will pay homage to 1971 by offering the Original Legendary Burger for just 71 pence on a first come, first served basis between the hours of 11am-12pm.

Legendary, just like the artists whose memorabilia hangs on the walls in all of the Hard Rock Cafe’s around the world, the burger is made up of a beef patty topped with smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, a golden fried onion ring, crisp lettuce and vine ripened tomato, served on a toasted brioche bun with Hard Rock’s seasoned fries.

In addition to the 71p burger, the staff will be dressing up 70’s style and guests are invited to join in on the festivities by rocking up in clothes from the era of disco. Think Nile Rodgers, Sister Sledge, Donna Summer, Bee Gees, KC and the Sunshine Band, Diana Ross and Earth, Wind and Fire.
