VIDEO: Stunning time lapse shows the extent of the blizzard and snowfall in the US

Paul Moore

The majority of the East Coast of the US – and various other states – are currently in the midst of a blizzard that may set the record for the highest snowfall levels in their history.

19 people have already died as a state of emergency has been declared. The storm was the second-biggest in New York’s history, with 26.8 inches of snow falling by midnight on Saturday.

While the view from space might be exquisite, a YouTube user named ryanmcell managed to offer a brief glimpse of the unyielding blizzard that has battered the US.

This is staggering.

Here’s the video in full.

While this adverse weather is a very serious issue with deaths, power outages, flooding and other issues all occurring, there’s always a few people that love the snow.

We’ve never seen an outfit like this worn when shovelling snow before…
