106-year old Virginia McLaurin got to meet US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle at the weekend as the White House continues its celebrations of Black History month throughout the month of February.
McLaurin, who had previously filed a petition saying she would like to meet the President and his family, had her wishes fulfilled over the weekend and she was like a kid at Christmas when she got to the White House.
Virginia looked closer to 26 than 106 as she began dancing with Obama and his wife and her sheer enthusiasm and fantastic attitude would put a smile on anyone’s face.
