Tributes pour in for Howard ‘Mr. Nice’ Marks

Homenews

Tributes have been flowing in following the news that author and international drug smuggler Howard Marks has died from bowl cancer.

Marks, who was aged 70, came to global prominence 20 years ago upon the release of his autobiography Mr Nice, having left US prison in 1995, where he had been incarcerated for drug offences. His writing hit home with millions of people, and his life story made the big screen in 2010, with Welsh actor Rhys Ifans in the main role. https://twitter.com/Rubberbandits/status/719301436958490628 https://twitter.com/jamesjamesbrown/status/719264813583609856 https://twitter.com/imeldamounfield/status/719406124508819456 https://twitter.com/hogimuzik/status/719283166595399682 https://twitter.com/theGLC/status/719395769623691264 https://twitter.com/MickPuck/status/719320491228598273 https://twitter.com/TheCrookes/status/719308273170694144 https://twitter.com/Herring1967/status/719296546286776320 https://twitter.com/domjoly/status/719412054730346496 https://twitter.com/laurenlaverne/status/719410092442054657 https://twitter.com/MsLisaRogers/status/719406961289273344 https://twitter.com/RobdaBank/status/719399894591651840 https://twitter.com/edibow/status/719391289695936512 https://twitter.com/antonnewcombe/status/719304401744211973
