Billy and Lydia Brown received a complaint for being too loud in bed
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield listened to a couple having sex live on This Morning, and it’s fair to say it left them lost for words.
The presenters spoke to Lydia Barker and Billy Brown on Thursday after the couple were subjected to formal complaints from their neighbour about being too loud in bed.
Lydia, who has lived in the property for two months, said she was “shocked” to receive a letter from the housing company about her noisy antics.
She said it’s a “new thing” and the couple have never had complaints until now.
Then, in a bizarre moment on daytime TV, Holly and Phil were forced to listen to a recording of the couple having sex, so they could share their thoughts on whether it really was too hot to handle.
“Do we want to do this?” Holly questioned, before producers played the audio clip in their earpieces.
The pair remained silent for ages, but the look on their faces said it all.
At one moment, the presenters both jolted in shock, at which point Holly seemed to have heard enough.
“Right got it,” she said, “That’s definitely all I need to hear, thank you very much.”
While Holly and Phil seemed completely taken a back, the couple they were listening to simply looked at each other and started laughing.
“You definitely like to talk to each other during your love-making,” Holly said to them.
“She never shuts up,” Billy said.
Phil said: “Maybe part of the complaints might be the words you were actually shouting.”
Lydia was quick to blame her partner, but Phil jumped in and said: “Lydia, it was you that was actually shouting.”
