The girlfriend of UKIP’s leader has been suspended for making racist remarks about Meghan Markle

Disgusting.

UKIP has suspended Jo Marney, the girlfriend of party leader Henry Bolton, after she made racist remarks about Prince Harry’s fiancee Meghan Markle.

The Mail on Sunday revealed the series of messages that were sent by Marney.

In these messages, the 25-year-old said that Miss Markle would “taint” the Royal Family with ‘her seed’ and pave the way for a ‘black king’. She also said that Miss Markle had a “tiny brain” and that black people were ugly.

Ms Marney also disclosed that she would never have sex with ‘a negro’ because they are ‘ugly’. When informed that one of her messages were racist, she replied by saying “so what?” She then went on to state her belief that other races are invading her culture.

Since these text messages were disclosed,  Marney apologised and said that they were taken out of context.

In a statement to the newspaper, Ms Marney apologised “unreservedly” for the “shocking language” she used in the messages.

“The opinions I expressed were deliberately exaggerated in order to make a point and have, to an extent, been taken out of context. Yet I fully recognise the offence they have caused,” she said.

Since the abhorrent nature of the texts were revealed, Marney has been suspended from UKIP.

Former deputy leader of the party, Peter Whittle, wrote: “These are disgraceful remarks. This person should not just be suspended… but expelled altogether.”
