Screech from ‘Saved By The Bell’ has been jailed again

Dustin Diamond, known for his role as Screech in Saved By The Bell, was arrested again on Wednesday.

The former teen star was in violation of the terms of his parole. Earlier this year, 39-year-old Diamond was jailed for three months for his involvement in a bar fight that resulted in a stabbing on Christmas Day. Jurors found Diamond guilty of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct, but not guilty of the felony charge of reckless endangerment, according to reports. https://twitter.com/CNN/status/735721121463435265 Diamond described the incident in an interview on Extra TV:

“I had my pocket knife like this and the blade was right here and the guy came from around me and grabbed my throat, and so he nicked his arm on the tip of it. It was a Band-Aid, the most expensive Band-Aid I’ve ever bought."

The latest arrest is just another sad twist in the actor’s life. In 2006 Diamond attempted to cash in on his fame by producing and directing a sex-tape called Screeched. Diamond later admitted that he didn’t actually star in the video. He said that stunt was all for the money. “I had to take a chance. What if that thing had made $3 or 4 million?” said Diamond. Diamond was only recently interviewed by his former co-star Mario Lopez. “I want to put the tomfoolery and malarkey behind me,” he said during the chat. “Time for a change.” Here's hoping he can start turning his life around.
