The new S25 has been unveiled by Samsung
Samsung’s latest S25 has officially been revealed, and it’s looking like a beauty.
The brand is taking on the new iPhone 16 Pro Max with the top of the range S25 Ultra and comes with some big upgrades over the previous generation S24.
Priced at £48 a month in the best deal we could find at Sky Mobile, the Titanium handset comes in blue, silver, grey and black. All new orders will arrive with Buds3 Pro worth £219 in the Sky deal.
The deal also needs you to add a data plan but you can get that for as little as £6 a month, with Sky offering double data on plans when you order the new Samsung Ultra 25. You can pre order it here.
Available to pre order from Friday 24 January, the first handsets will be delivered from 3 February.
The Ultra will have a 6.9-inch screen – slightly larger than the S24’s 6.8-inch screen – and under the hood it will get a new super-fast Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for better performance.
The new Samsung S25 Ultra comes with a titanium design, which is also a feature seen on the Pro Max, but it does come with a few extras. They include a 200MP main camera and a quad camera system compared to the iPhone’s trio of cameras with a 48MP main.
The S25 Ultra also comes with 12GB of RAM compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s 8GB.
Samsung also has its own form of artificial intelligence to take on Apple Intelligence, which was added to iPhone’s in December last year.
UK deals are set to be launched for the new Samsung S25 Ultra but the cheapest deal is a bit more expensive than the cheapest iPhone 16 Pro Max. That stands at £37 a month with Sky Mobile, which does not include data plans.
Luckily there is a half price January sale on those with the cheapest coming in at £5 per month for 3GB, bringing the cheapest cost of the Pro Max to just £42 a month with no upfront cost. You can get that deal here.
