Rolf Harris has been cleared of three sexual assault charges.

According to The Guardian, the jury deliberated for 26 hours and 16 minutes before returning a ‘not guilty’ verdict on two charges of indecent assault and one of sexual assault.

The Southwark Crown Court jury failed to return a verdict on four other charges and as a result, this jury has now been discharged.

The former TV personality and presenter is currently serving a prison sentence following his 2014 trial, when he was convicted of 12 sex offences against four girls, one of whom was aged under ten.
