Richard Keys officially married the friend of his daughter after his previous marriage came to an end after 34 years.
The disgraced former Sky Sports pundit married 35-year-old lawyer Lucie Rose in Devon on Saturday 24 June after previously denying claims that he had an affair with the 35-year-old while with his former wife, Julia.
In a 2016 interview, Julia - who had been battling thyroid cancer - claimed that Keys had met Rose, a friend of his daughter Jemma, while working in Doha.
Speaking to The Sun at the time, she said: "I don’t feel bitter towards Lucie, but deeply disappointed that she could devastate our family like this."
Keys, 66, responded to the allegations during an interview with The Athletic, saying: "If people believe that I walked away with my wife fighting cancer with a friend of my daughter’s, I can’t change that now. Tell a lie twice and it becomes the truth. Tell it on social media and it haunts you forever."
Photos from the day show the BeIN Sports pundit dressed in a light suit while travelling around in a large, white Range Rover. Another post shows the newly-wedded couple staring into each other's eyes lovingly in front of a small audience.
He's also revealed that the two will spend their honeymoon in Canada before he returns to work ahead of the start of the Premier League, which begins in August.
Jemma is thought to have not attended the wedding between her dad and friend. In 2018 she described the couple's relationship as "the most awful betrayal".
