Rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and his five-year-old daughter have died after a shooting in Texas.
The father and daughter were victims of a shooting at a car wash in the suburb of Forest Hill late on Monday morning, March 3.
The local rapper Ronnie 'LilRonnie' Smith, popularly known as G$ Lil Ronnie, and his 5-year-old daughter were identified as the victims of the shooting by a family member at the scene.
“He was a rapper. He didn’t bother nobody. He didn’t target nobody," said Smith's aunt, Stella Houston.
"He was a family man and he was going around rapping, okay. Why would you target him?" she added.
Police have not yet released details about the suspect or the motive behind the attack.
SKY4 showed images of a large crime scene with dozens of evidence markers, while authorities were called in to assist large crowds that gathered following the incident.
